#21 Lisa Pasquin | Why Women Need To Know What Their Colleagues Are Earning
Today we’re talking about that gender pay gap. According to Statistics Canada, women in this country continue to earn 89 cents for every dollar men earn. Pay transparency is what the Canadian Women’s Foundation calls one of three bold steps for companies and governments to take towards eliminating this gap. In February, Lisa Pasquin, the founder and president of Craft PR, did just that by sharing her company’s salary bands in hopes of encouraging her colleagues to band together to close the pay gap once and for all.
